The adjective "greatest" is the most subjective word for sure. Commonly, the greatest mystery of life is thought to be about spiritual believes, also may recall occultism a little bit. However, in my opinion, the greatest mystery of life is in the life itself, main subject of biology. Guess what? DNA? No? Just because it is known for so long time? I really don't understand how may people think that the knowledge of DNA and heredity explains the formation of  species. Do not be so quick to judge me. Just think about it. Think about a single cell of which all other cells of  a single body get divided. All of the cells carries the exact same code, which guides them to produce proteins and transforms into what? As an administrative specialist, who had been exposed to some fundamental problems of administration, I had been aware of the opportunities and the promises the computer science offer; but not just infrastructural benfits of advanced IT systems. Advanced IT systems may offer great advantages over some problems indeed. however, the fundamental problems need to be approached more hypothetically by using theorems and methods of computer science. I am of the kind whom people tell stories about, the person who has followed his dreams and turned his passion into his profession. Naval architecture has been my passion since I was 8. I was pursuing to figure out how objects behave on the water surface. Whenever I was near to a shore, I could gaze on the vessels sailing through the sea and examine the curves of the boats pulled ashore for hours. I had figured out how an object can floats in the water when I reached my 10s and understand how ships can stand stable on the surface of a liquid when I was 11, following several experiments of my model ships and toys, extremely primitive objects yet sufficiently useful. I wasn't such a promising student during my University semesters. All I focused on was understanding the reasons of the phenomenons, the methods of design processes, engineering approaches and the things I was curious about. Birtek ilk darbe vurulduğunda baltanın zarar veremeden geri sektiğini gördüğümde duy gulanır gibi oldum. İlk darbeyi indiren kuzenime, "sen dur bari sahibim vursun. Yüreği el verirse o parçalasın" der gibiydi. Direndi. dayandı. Ben baltamı alıp vurunca, dayanamadı Deniz Kurdu daha fazla, koyverdi kendini. Sonrasında yalnızca eğlenceydi. Parçalarına ayrılırken, özenle üzerinde çalıştığım, artık kaplama altında kalmış kısımlar gün ışığına çıkarken şunu farkettim. Tekne düşündüğümden de beklediğimden de sağlamdı.  Eş anlamlı olduğunu düşündüğümüz doktor ve hekim kelimelerinin arasındaki fark nedir? Biri aslında tıpla sınırlı olmayan akademik bir ünvanken diğeri ise "insanlardaki hastalıkları teşhis ve onları ilaçlarla veya bazı araçlarla tedavi eden kimse"dir. Birinin diğerinin yerine kullanımı halk dilinde yaygındır.  Eş anlamlı kelimelerin varlık sebebi canı isteyen istediğini kullansından ziyade acaba aradaki ufak nüans farklarının ifadesini kolaylaştırmak olabilir mi? Bir dilin zenginliği kelime çokluğu değil de kelimeler arasındaki anlam ve kapsam farklılıkları olamaz mı? Dünya ve yerküre iki eş anlamlı kelime. değil mi? Aralarında bir fark var mı? Kullanmadığımız için yok diyebilir miyiz? Dünya kelimesinin orjini Arapça olduğuna göre, kök manalarına bakalım; yakın, düşük, alçak, yakınlaştırmak gibi anlamlara gelebilen bir köke sahip. Kur'an-ı Kerim'de dünya ve ahiret ikilisi olarak kullanıldığını, ki ahiret son / sonraki anlamına gelir, acaba dünya aslında soyut olarak b...

 Çoğumuz "elhamdulillah" sözünü "Allaha şükürler olsun" şeklinde düşünerek kullanır. Bu sözün tercümesi  "övgü Allah'a aittir / övgü Allaha mahsustur / övgü Allah içindir" şeklindedir . Övmek, yüceltmek anlamına da gelir. Övdüğünüz kimseyi yüceltirsiniz aslında. Sözün manası övgüyü Allah'a has kılmaktır. "Li" harfi arapçada aidiyet, sahiplik, içinlik ifade eder. Bir durumla karşılaşılınca bu sözü söyleyerek kendimize, baktığımızın ardındaki yüceliği hatırlatırız. Bir musibete duçar olduğumuzda "bunun da bir hikmeti vardır, Övgü/Yücelik Allah'a mahsustur, herşey onun bilgisi ve izniyle olur" diye hatırlatırız kendimizie. Bir de övüldüğümüzde, biri bize güzel bir söz söylediğinde, "elhamdülillah" demek, "bende gördüğünüz övülecek sıfatlar da bana değildir, övgü ancak allahadır, bunlar bize verdiği nimetlerdir" deriz.
